Each Lafuma Zero Gravity Relacement Cord Kit comes with 4 replacement lacings for one Lafuma patio recliner. When you replace your suspension cords, remove one side at a time so you can refer to the existing cord for installation.

LAFUMA LACING INSTRUCTIONS

Please note the new laces are stronger and do not have to be double laced. Because the are stronger, they are also shorter. If you attempt to double lace your chair (except as indicated) you will not have enough lacing to relace your chair.

Your relacing kit will have four laces:

2 short ones (for the back of the chair)

2 longer ones (for the seat and leg of the chair)

1. For an RSX (an RSX has 29 grommets on one side of the chair from top to bottom) Please start at the bottom with one of the longer laces and lace through each grommet once. The only grommet you will double lace is the 9th grommet from the bottom of the chair. Please pull your lacing taut as you go through each grommet, so there isn't any slack. When you have laced the legs and seat and reach the end of your lace, please continue up the back of the chair with the shorter lace. It is easiest to lace one side of the chair at a time.

2. For an RSX XL (an RSX XL has 30 grommets on one side of the chair from top to bottom) Please start at the bottom with one of the longer laces and lace through each grommet once. The only grommet you will double lace is the 10th grommet from the bottom of the chair. Please pull your lacing taut as you go through each grommet, so there isn't any slack. When you have laced the legs and seat and reach the end of your lace, please continue up the back of the chair with the shorter lace. It is easiest to lace one side of the chair at a time.
